TIPS FOR DRIVING ONLINE BOOK SALES:

Write a one-paragraph author bio in third person.

Create a user/shopper account on Amazon.com, bn.com, apple books, and google books.

Buy your own book to generate a ranking.

Create an Author Central account on Amazon.com.

Solicit positive reviews for your book.

List your book on Goodreads.com, Shelfari.com, and Librarything.com. If you have a blog, add it to your author page using an RSS feed.

Use social networking to get the word out: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, blogging etc….
but don’t get obsessed with social media as it can suck up or divert precious time from your writing.

Submit your blog feed to Feed Burner: www.feedburner.com.

Send a press release out announcing the release of your book: www.pr.com
Google gives press releases precedence over other types of content.

Create a www.Youtube.com video, either a book trailer or interview.
